Hey everyone! I’ve been playing the new Flight Simulator 2024 and I’m blown away by something unexpected. Even though most of the game takes place way up in the sky, the ground detail is crazy good!
I mean, we’re talking about flying at 3,000 feet or higher most of the time, right? But when I look down, I can see so much stuff on the ground. Trees, buildings, roads - it’s all there and looks super realistic.
Has anyone else noticed this? I’m wondering why they put so much effort into ground details when we’re mostly looking at clouds. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome, but I’m curious about the dev’s thinking here.
What’s your take on this? Do you think it adds to the game experience? Or is it just extra eye candy that most players won’t even notice?
