Dragon Age Inquisition: Spill the tea on one awesome and one meh thing

Yo, we’ve chatted about DAO and DA2, now let’s dive into Inquisition!

The good stuff: OMG, the party banter is fire! It’s like the characters are actual besties, not just NPCs following you around. They’ve got their own things going on, chatting and bonding without you even being there. It’s so cool to see friendships and even romances bloom between them. Makes the whole world feel real, you know?

The not-so-great: Ugh, the open world thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m usually all about exploring every nook and cranny in games. But for Dragon Age? It just didn’t click. All those fetch quests and collectibles felt like a boring chore. I’d zone out grinding through stuff, then when I got back to the main story, it was like ‘Wait, what was I doing again?’ Totally killed the vibe.

What do you guys think? Any other highs and lows from Inquisition?

The war table missions were a cool addition. Loved sending advisors on tasks.

But yeah, those repetitive side quests got old fast. Wish they’d focused on quality over quantity.

The character customization in Inquisition was awesome. So many options to make your Inquisitor look unique. Spent way too much time tweaking my character’s face.

On the flip side, the combat felt a bit too MMO-ish for my taste. Kinda missed the more tactical feel from Origins. Still fun, but not quite as engaging as I hoped it’d be.

I loved the dragon fights in Inquisition! Taking down those beasts with your team was epic. But I gotta agree about the open world. It felt a bit empty sometimes and I missed the tighter focus of the earlier games. Still had fun though!
