Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting Overcooked 2 on Steam for PC and I want to play it together with my girlfriend. We’re both really excited to try this cooking game but I’m not sure about the multiplayer requirements. Do we both need to own separate copies of the game to play together, or can we somehow share one copy? I’ve heard some games support local co-op or family sharing features, but I can’t find clear information about Overcooked 2 specifically. Has anyone here played this game in co-op mode? What’s the best way to set this up for two players on PC? Any advice would be really helpful before I make the purchase. Thanks in advance for your help!
You only need one copy for couch co-op on the same PC. Just sit together and start cooking!

Yeah, local multiplayer works perfectly with one copy. My partner and I had a blast playing through it together on the same PC.
You only need one copy if you’re both playing on the same PC. Overcooked 2 is a blast for local co-op with up to 4 players, just hook up some controllers. But fair warning, it can really test your teamwork. Things get chaotic in the kitchen, but that makes it fun!
