Didn't expect this Star Wars game to become my top pick until I stopped playing it

Just wrapped up everything in Star Wars Outlaws and decided to jump back into Jedi Fallen Order, which used to be my go-to Star Wars game. But man, I’m actually feeling pretty sad about leaving Kay’s story behind and going back to the whole Force user thing.

There’s something really different about playing as an outlaw instead of a Jedi. With Kay, you get to just exist in the Star Wars world without constantly worrying about saving everyone. You can gamble, sneak around, shoot your way out of trouble, or just explore cool planets. It feels more like you’re actually living there instead of being on some epic mission.

When I play as a Jedi, I always feel like I have to be the hero and fix everything. That’s fine and all, but I never realized how much I enjoyed just being a regular person in that galaxy. Playing cards in a cantina or trying to pull off a heist feels way more immersive to me.

I guess Outlaws became my favorite Star Wars game without me even knowing it. Only figured it out when I tried switching to something else and felt bummed about it.

Totally get that! KOTOR had that vibe—being a Jedi was cool, but the real fun was living in the galaxy and interacting with everyone. Just being a regular person dealing with everyday stuff made it feel so much more alive. It’s nice to break away from that hero role and just enjoy the little things, right?

Same thing happened to me with Red Dead 2. Sometimes just wandering around doing random stuff hits way better than constantly being the chosen one.
