Creepy webcam game: Duck under your desk to hide from a digital monster

Hey everyone, I’m working on this spooky game idea and wanted to get your thoughts. It’s about a player who discovers a weird, cursed game on their computer. The twist is that there’s a monster in the game that can see you through your actual webcam! To avoid getting caught, you have to physically duck under your desk in real life.

I’m curious if you think this concept is too scary or if it might be fun for horror fans. Have any of you played games that use your webcam in creative ways? I’m also wondering about potential issues with people who don’t have webcams or limited mobility. Any ideas on how to make this work for different players?

Let me know what you think about this concept. I’m excited to hear your feedback and suggestions!

Sounds like a cool twist on horror games. Might be a bit too intense for some people though. I’d probably play it, but I’d make sure my room was brightly lit first! Have you thought about adding different monster types that react to other movements? Could be fun to mix it up.

Sounds pretty creepy! I’ve played a few games that use webcams but nothing this intense. It’s an interesting concept for sure. Maybe you could add different difficulty levels? Like easier modes where the monster moves slower or something. Just a thought.

That’s a pretty wild concept. I like the idea of blurring the line between game and reality. Reminds me a bit of Eternal Darkness messing with your TV. Could be super intense for people who get really immersed. Might freak some folks out though. For accessibility, maybe offer an alternate mode where you press a key to ‘duck’ instead of physically moving? Just spitballing here. Curious to see how it turns out if you make it!

Sounds intense! Could be a hit with streamers.

Maybe add a setting to use keyboard controls instead of webcam.

What about different monsters that react to other movements?

Sounds cool but might be too scary for some folks.

Maybe have options for using keyboard or controller instead of webcam?

Could be fun to add different monsters that react to various movements or sounds.
