I’m trying to find a video game-style animation I saw on YouTube between 2010 and 2015. It was a high-quality rendered short film set in a dystopian future city. The video started with a cool camera move, flying from outside into a bedroom and then through an apartment. It showed the people living there running out into the streets, where there was a lot of gunfire and chaos.
The visuals were really impressive, and the sound effects were top-notch too. I remember it being quite popular on Reddit when it came out. Does anyone know what this video might be? I’d love to watch it again!
That sounds familiar. I remember a bunch of those high-quality CGI shorts floating around YouTube back then. Lots of dystopian cities and slick camera moves. Could it have been a game cinematic or tech demo? Those always pushed the visuals to the max. Wish I could pin down the exact one you’re thinking of, but there were so many cool ones in that style.
Man, those CGI shorts were so cool back then. I remember watching a ton of them. The one you’re describing sounds epic with all the chaos and gunfire. Wish I could remember the exact one, but it’s bringing back memories of late night YouTube binges watching futuristic city flythroughs.
Sounds kinda like Cyberpunk 2077’s trailer, but that came out later. There were a bunch of cool futuristic city flythrough videos back then. Maybe it was a tech demo for some 3D software? Those always had crazy visuals and camera moves.
Sounds familiar. Those CGI shorts were everywhere back then. I remember binging so many futuristic city flythroughs on YouTube. The one you’re describing sounds killer with that camera move and all the chaos.
Could’ve been a tech demo for a game engine or 3D software. They always pushed the visuals to insane levels. Wish I could pinpoint it for you, but there were tons in that style floating around.
Could be Kara by Quantic Dream. Awesome visuals and intense city scenes. Not a full game, just a short tech demo that blew everyone away. Worth checking out if you’re into futuristic CGI stuff.
