Can you name a classic horror game that remains terrifying even after a decade?

Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about old-school horror games lately. You know, the ones that came out more than 10 years ago but still give you the creeps when you play them today. I’m looking for recommendations!

I remember playing this one game on my PS4 a while back. It was super dark and messed with your head big time. The story was really creepy, and the visuals… man, they still haunt me sometimes. It was like a perfect storm of scary stuff.

I can’t remember the name, but I know it was made by some famous people in the game and movie world. Anyway, I stupidly deleted it from my console, and now I can’t get it back. Big mistake!

So, what other older horror games do you guys think are still scary? Any hidden gems I should check out? I’m up for anything that’ll keep me up at night!

Dead Space is a classic that still freaks me out. Those Necromorphs and the creepy space station vibe really hold up. Gets my vote for lasting scares.

Resident Evil 4 on GameCube still gets my heart racing. The village at the start, the creepy castle, those chainsaw guys… it’s intense even now. The atmosphere and tension are top-notch. Gameplay holds up too. Definitely worth revisiting if you want some old-school scares.

Silent Hill 2 still gives me chills. The atmosphere and psychological horror are unmatched. That fog and those monsters… nightmare fuel even now.

Fatal Frame 2 on PS2 still scares the crap out of me. Something about fighting ghosts with just a camera is so unnerving. The twin story and creepy Japanese setting really stick with you too. Definitely worth checking out if you missed it back in the day.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is still terrifying. That game messes with your sanity in ways that feel fresh even now. No weapons, just you and the darkness. Gave me nightmares for weeks.
