Best mods for realistic economic gameplay - looking for immersion boost

Hey everyone! I’m about to start a new playthrough focused on realistic economics and I want to make it as immersive as possible. I’m talking about making money actually matter, having proper supply chains, realistic pricing, that sort of thing. I’ve been browsing through mod lists but there are so many options it’s getting overwhelming. What are the essential mods you guys would recommend for this kind of setup? I’m especially interested in ones that add depth to trading, resource management, and overall economic systems. Also curious if anyone has experience with mods that make survival more challenging while keeping the economic aspects front and center. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Realistic Needs and Diseases completely changes economic runs. You’re constantly budgeting for food, medicine, and clean water - every cap counts. Works great with mods that limit vendor stock so you can’t buy everything in one go.

Scarcity mods plus realistic carry limits make every purchase count. You can’t hoard everything when inventory space actually costs money.

For something different, try the Trade Routes and Supply Lines mod. Completely changed how I handle resources.
