Hey folks, I’ve been playing again after a long break and I’m really digging the zoo planning and building part. But something’s bugging me. The zoo feels kinda… dead? You know what I mean?
I keep thinking back to Zoo Tycoon 2. That game made me feel like I was actually in a zoo! The animals did all sorts of cool stuff - peeing, feeding babies, laying eggs, and making noises at each other. And don’t get me started on the guests! They were having a blast, yelling and laughing and copying the animals.
In this game, I build my zoo and it looks great, but when I walk around, it’s so quiet. The guests are like robots just taking pics, and the animals only seem to interact when they’re fighting.
Am I the only one feeling this way? Does anyone else wish the game had more life to it?
I feel you on this. The game’s gorgeous, but it’s missing that bustling zoo vibe. More animal interactions would be awesome. Like seeing chimps use tools or wolves howling together. And yeah, the guests could use some personality. Imagine kids running around excited or people reacting when a lion roars. Those little details really bring a zoo to life.
Yeah, I get what you mean. The game looks pretty, but it’s missing that extra spark. I loved Zoo Tycoon 2 too. Maybe they’ll add more animations and sounds in updates? For now I just zoom in close and use my imagination a bit.
