I’ve been noticing a trend lately that’s really bugging me. It seems like every other game I see advertised is some kind of AI-generated simulator. At first, I thought it was cool, but now it’s just getting old.
These games all look the same to me. They have fancy graphics, but the gameplay feels shallow and repetitive. It’s like the developers are just relying on AI to do all the work instead of coming up with original ideas.
Am I the only one who feels this way? I miss the days when games felt more handcrafted and unique. Don’t get me wrong, I think AI can be a great tool, but it shouldn’t replace human creativity entirely.
What do you guys think? Are these AI sim games taking over the market? Is it just a phase, or is this the future of gaming? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I’ve played a few of those AI sims and they can be hit or miss. Some are decent time killers, but most lack that special something. Indie games still have that creative spark though. I think we’ll see more interesting stuff once the AI trend dies down a bit.
I’ve tried a few AI sims. Some are fun, but most feel kinda empty. Hopefully it’s just a phase. There’s still tons of awesome handcrafted games out there if you look for them.
I’ve been noticing this trend too. It’s kinda frustrating how many AI sim games are flooding the market lately. They look shiny on the surface, but often feel hollow once you start playing.
I think it’s just the latest fad in gaming. Remember when everything was a battle royale? This’ll probably blow over too. In the meantime, there are still plenty of great indie and AA games out there with real heart and creativity.
I get what you mean about AI sims. They’re everywhere now. Some are pretty cool, but yeah, a lot feel kinda samey. I still enjoy a good sim game now and then, but I definitely prefer when there’s more human touch in the design. Maybe devs will find a better balance soon.
