After finishing Baldur's Gate 3, I can't find anything else that compares - what should I try?

Just finished an amazing playthrough of BG3 with my gaming crew and I’m completely hooked on this style of game now. We spent months going through the whole campaign together and it was incredible.

The problem is that everything else feels boring after this. We used to play stuff like Call of Duty and Apex Legends all the time, plus some co-op survival titles like Valheim. But none of that hits the same way anymore.

What made BG3 so special was how we could take our time making decisions together, really dive into the characters and story, and work as a team in combat. The turn-based fighting gave us time to actually plan things out instead of just rushing in.

Now we’re all sitting here wondering what to play next. Has anyone else dealt with this same problem? What games did you move on to after BG3 that actually kept you interested?

We’re mainly on Xbox so anything that works there would be perfect. Doesn’t matter what type of game it is as long as it has that same feeling of going on an adventure together and making meaningful choices.

Really hoping someone has some good suggestions because right now nothing else seems worth playing.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is a great next step. The story is rich and the tactical combat makes you really think about each decision as a group.

Wasteland 3 might scratch that itch. Great co-op RPG with tons of dialogue choices and tactical combat.

I feel you on this one. BG3 sets the bar pretty high. For co-op storytelling, It Takes Two is worth a shot - totally different vibe but the teamwork and story elements are solid. Sea of Thieves might work too since you’re always deciding what adventure to tackle next together, though it’s not an RPG.
