Hey everyone, I’m running into a weird issue while farming the quarantine area on 400% difficulty mode. I’ve been trying to get some vibrating core reactors but every single drop I’m getting is solidified engineering reactors instead. This has happened like 10+ times now and it’s really frustrating because I need those specific reactor types for my build. Has anyone else experienced this bug on the highest difficulty setting? Is there something I’m missing about the loot tables or drop rates at 400%? I’m wondering if this is intentional or if there’s some kind of glitch affecting the reward system. Any help would be appreciated since I’ve been grinding this for hours with no luck getting the right drops.
You’re mixing up the drop mechanics. At 400% difficulty, you only get solidified engineering reactors - that’s all that tier drops. Want vibrating cores? Farm the mid-tier difficulties instead. Not a bug, just how the loot system works.
You’re probably farming the wrong spot. Vibrating cores drop in the lower level quarantine zones, not the 400% difficulty ones. Higher areas have completely different loot tables.
