Which video games left you feeling emotionally empty after completing them due to amazing storytelling?

I recently wrapped up my playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 and I’m experiencing that weird feeling you get when you finish something really incredible. You know that sensation where you just sit there staring at the credits wondering what to do next? The story was so engaging and the characters felt so real that now I feel kind of lost without them. It’s like finishing a really good book series where you don’t want it to end. Has anyone else experienced this with other games? I’m looking for recommendations for titles that might give me that same emotional investment and storytelling quality. What games have you played that left you with genuine feelings of sadness or emptiness once the story concluded?

Mass Effect 3 hit me like that. Even with all the controversy about the ending, saying goodbye to Shepard and the crew after three games was rough.

Red Dead Redemption 2 absolutely destroyed me emotionally. Spent weeks just wandering around after finishing it because I wasn’t ready to let go of Arthur and that world.

The Last of Us Part II left me completely hollow for days. I know it’s divisive but man, that game put me through an emotional blender. Couldn’t start anything new for like a week because I was still processing everything that happened.

Also Nier Automata if you’re into weird philosophical stuff. That ending sequence just breaks you in the best way possible.
