I get so absorbed in Red Dead Redemption that I lose track of time completely. This game is absolutely incredible and probably my favorite of all time. Even though the game doesn’t make me do it, I always make sure to visit Eagle Flies’ grave before starting the last mission. The guy died trying to help Arthur and it would feel really wrong to just ignore that. I’m wondering what kind of stuff other people do when playing as Arthur or John that the game doesn’t actually require but you do it anyway because it feels right?
I always pat my horse after every ride, even just short trips around camp.
I always make Arthur eat proper meals at camp instead of just snacking. Keeping him well-fed feels right, even though it barely changes anything gameplay-wise.
I understand that! I always take time to explore the camp and check in on my companions, even if I don’t need to. Just having conversations and enjoying the atmosphere makes the game feel more alive, even if it doesn’t impact the story.
