I’m looking for game recommendations that really mess with your head and heart. You know those games where you finish playing but keep thinking about the characters and story for days? I want something that makes me feel totally absorbed in its world.
I’m talking about games with incredible storytelling that gets you emotionally attached to what’s happening. The kind where you actually care about the outcome and feel sad when it’s over. Doesn’t matter if it’s RPG, action, or whatever genre.
What I’m after is that feeling where you’re so into the game world that reality feels weird when you stop playing. Rich atmosphere and characters that feel real are what I’m craving most.
Any suggestions for games that gave you this kind of deep connection?
Red Dead Redemption 2 wrecked me. Spent weeks after beating it just thinking about Arthur and the crew. How Rockstar got me so attached to a bunch of outlaws was insane. I’d actually feel sad about my horse dying and miss just hanging around camp listening to everyone talk. That world felt more real than half the places I’ve actually visited.
Mass Effect was definitely like that for me. I couldn’t stop thinking about my crew for weeks after finishing the trilogy. Those relationship choices really hit hard when you actually care about everyone.
