What games have amazing stories and characters like these ones I loved?

Hey everyone! I’m trying to find some new games to play that really pull you into their world. I want something with great storytelling that makes you care about the characters and think about the game even when you’re not playing.

I absolutely loved Final Fantasy X and Skies of Arcadia because they had incredible worlds and stories that stuck with me for years. The characters felt real and I got super attached to them. Another game called Clair Obscur also hit me the same way.

I’m looking for games that have that special something where the story and characters just grab you emotionally. Not just good gameplay but games where you actually feel connected to what’s happening. Anyone know some hidden gems or popular titles that might give me those same feels?

Xenogears is perfect for you. The story gets wild and philosophical, and the character development is amazing. It’s 80+ hours but you’ll think about it for months. Also grab Radiant Historia if you can find it - the time travel mechanics and emotional moments are incredible.

If you want deep stories, try The Last Guardian. The emotional bond between the boy and creature really hooks you. Yeah, it’s slow-paced, but that connection makes it worth it.
