I recently picked up some new hardware for work but it also handles gaming really well. Been playing on my PlayStation and Xbox systems lately. Tried out the new Spider-Man game yesterday and wow, it felt like I was actually there swinging around the city.
Now I’m looking for more games that give you that same feeling where you forget you’re just holding a controller. I’ve got access to Game Pass and own a PlayStation 5 right now. Planning to build a gaming PC later but for now I’m stuck with console games. Any suggestions would be awesome!
Red Dead Redemption 2 is hands down the most immersive game I’ve played. The detail is absolutely insane - from how the horses behave to Arthur’s animations. You’ll lose hours just wandering around. Also grab Horizon Zero Dawn if you missed it. Those post-apocalyptic landscapes are stunning, and the haptic feedback on PS5 makes exploration feel amazing.
GT7 with a wheel setup feels incredibly real - the weather effects and tire physics are spot on. Controller haptics work well too if you can’t get a wheel.
