This game seems like it would translate amazingly well to virtual reality. The whole concept and setting just screams VR potential to me. Even though the mechanics are pretty straightforward, I think putting on a headset and actually sitting at that table would be such an immersive experience. You could actually look other players in the eye when you’re bluffing or trying to catch someone in a lie. The atmosphere is already so well crafted that being physically present in that virtual space would take it to another level. Has anyone else thought about how awesome this would be in VR? The developers should seriously consider making a VR version.
Absolutely! That eye contact would amp up the tension for sure.
Hand tracking would make card shuffling and dealing feel way more natural. And the Russian roulette scenes would be insanely intense when you’re reaching for the gun yourself.
VR for Liars Bar would be perfect. Picture leaning in close when someone’s bluffing - you’d feel that tension way more with actual presence. Handling the cards physically and being in that atmosphere would be incredible. And when you bluff? Everyone staring you down would hit different in VR.
