I’m pretty excited about the upcoming changes to Victoria 3’s trade system. It looks like the game is moving away from the unrealistic manual control we had before. Now it’s becoming more automated, which feels way more true to life.
I’ve always thought the game should be less about having total control over everything and more about using real government tactics to get what you want. You know, like actually dealing with your own country’s issues instead of just building whatever you feel like.
What do you guys think? Should we be playing as an interest group instead of some all-powerful national spirit? And wouldn’t it be cool if we could do local construction instead of everything being nationwide?
I’m curious to hear what others are hoping for in future updates. Do you want more realism or do you prefer having total control?
I’m digging the trade system changes too. More automation makes sense for that era. Local construction would be sweet - imagine balancing resources between different regions. As for realism vs control, I prefer a mix. Gotta keep the game fun while making it feel authentic.
Yeah, the trade changes sound pretty good. More automation could make things feel more realistic. I’d love to see local construction added. Managing different regions would be a cool challenge.
The trade update sounds promising. I like the idea of less micromanagement and more focus on policy decisions. It’s a tricky balance though. Too much automation can make the game feel hands-off, but too much control isn’t realistic either. I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out in practice.
The trade update sounds interesting. More automation could make things feel more realistic for that time period. I’d love to see local construction added too. Managing different regions would add a cool new layer to the game.
I’m all for a good balance of realism and control. Too much micromanagement gets tedious, but you still want to feel like you’re making important decisions. Curious to see how they pull it off.
