Hey everyone, I need to vent about something that just happened. I picked up this new game thinking it was gonna be a chill experience. Boy, was I wrong!
I was playing late at night, all cozy in my room, when suddenly this creepy bot popped up on my screen. I nearly jumped out of my skin! My heart was racing like crazy.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with this game? I feel like there should be a warning or something. I mean, I enjoy a good scare now and then, but this caught me totally off guard.
What do you guys think? Should games like this come with a heads-up about jump scares? Or am I just being a big baby? Let me know your thoughts!
Unexpected scares can be wild! I’ve had games sneak up on me too. It’s a tough call on warnings though. Part of the fun is not knowing what’s coming, but I get why some people would want a heads up. Maybe an option to toggle jump scares?
I’ve had similar experiences. Some games can really catch you off guard with unexpected scares. It’s a tough balance though. Warnings might ruin the surprise for some players, but could help others avoid getting freaked out. Maybe games could have an optional ‘scare level’ setting you can adjust? That way you can dial it up or down based on your tolerance for jumps and creepy stuff.
Unexpected scares can be intense! I’ve had similar experiences in games I thought were chill. It’s tricky though. Warnings might spoil the surprise for some, but help others avoid a shock. Maybe an option to tone down scares could work?
