Thoughts on the Junji Ito-inspired game 'World of Horror'?

Hey everyone! I’ve been playing this roguelike game called ‘World of Horror’ and it’s got me totally hooked. The art style and atmosphere are clearly inspired by Junji Ito’s creepy manga. I’m loving how it captures that eerie vibe, but I’m curious what others think. Have you tried it? What do you like or dislike about it? Does it do justice to Ito’s work? I feel like it’s a really cool tribute, but I’d love to hear different opinions. Also, if you’re into horror games, how does this one stack up against others in the genre? Let me know your thoughts!

Tried it. Pretty wild stuff.

The art really nails that Junji Ito vibe.

Gameplay’s a bit tough, but the creepy atmosphere keeps me coming back.

Definitely not your average horror game.

World of Horror is definitely a standout in the horror game scene. The Junji Ito vibes are spot on with that creepy pixel art. Gameplay can be tough but that’s part of the charm. I keep coming back to uncover more of the twisted story. Not your typical horror game for sure.

World of Horror is a trip. The black and white pixel art nails that unsettling Junji Ito feel. Gameplay’s solid, but man, it can get brutal. I’ve died so many times to weird cosmic horrors. Still, there’s something addictive about trying to piece together the mystery. Not for everyone, but if you dig atmospheric horror it’s worth a shot.

World of Horror is pretty unique. The Junji Ito-inspired art style really sets it apart from other horror games. It’s not jump-scare horror, more of a slow-burn creepiness that gets under your skin. The roguelike elements keep it interesting on replays too.

Played it a bit. Love the creepy vibe and pixel art. Captures Ito’s style pretty well. Difficulty can be frustrating though. Definitely worth checking out for horror fans.
