I wish they would have just been straight up and said they don’t want to play it anymore instead of making excuses. Mark claimed that Lethal Company sessions run for 6 hours, but honestly the longest stream they did was only 4 hours and that was way back when they were really into the game. Lately their sessions have been 2 hours max if we’re being real about it. Des mentioned they play it frequently but when you actually look at the numbers, they’ve been spending more time on Duck Game than Lethal Company recently. I would have respected them more if they just admitted they’re not feeling the game anymore rather than trying to avoid the topic. Sometimes it’s better to just be honest with the community about what content creators actually want to make.
Yeah this happens all the time with streamers. They’re burnt out on a game but feel trapped because viewers expect it. I’d much rather watch someone play what they actually want than fake their way through something they hate. You can always tell when the enthusiasm isn’t real anyway.
Lethal Company gets repetitive after a while so I don’t blame them for moving on to other stuff.
