Simulation mode in football games feels unfair

Hey everyone, I’m really frustrated with the simulation feature in my football game. I’ve got a top-notch Penn State team with a 94 overall rating, but whenever I decide to sim a game against a much weaker opponent (like a 75 overall team), I end up losing more often than not. It’s driving me crazy!

I mean, shouldn’t my high-rated team crush these lower-ranked squads? But nope, the sim keeps handing me defeats. It feels like the game’s simulation system is completely out of whack.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? It’s getting to the point where I feel forced to play every single game, even against teams that should be easy wins. That’s not fun at all.

Am I missing something here, or is the simulation feature just broken? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Maybe there’s a trick to getting better sim results that I don’t know about?

Simulation can be wonky sometimes. I’ve had similar issues.

Try tweaking sliders or adjusting coach strategies before simming. Might help get more realistic results.

Or embrace the chaos and roll with the upsets!

Sim mode is a bit of a mixed bag.

Sometimes it adds fun unpredictability, other times it’s just plain frustrating.

Maybe try simming in shorter chunks? That way you can jump in if things go south.

Yeah, simulation in sports games can be pretty wonky. I’ve had similar frustrations in Madden. Sometimes it feels like the AI just flips a coin instead of using team ratings. Maybe try simming a bunch of games and see if it evens out over time?

Sim mode can be weird like that. I’ve had games where my stacked team loses to underdogs too. It’s frustrating but kinda adds some realism. Real upsets happen in college football all the time. Still, wish the ratings mattered more.

Sim mode’s always been hit or miss in sports games. I’ve had similar issues in FIFA where my stacked team gets wrecked by some minnows. It’s annoying, but I guess it keeps things interesting.

Have you tried adjusting the game difficulty? Sometimes that can impact sim results. Or maybe sim half the game, then jump in if things are going badly. Not ideal, but might help avoid those frustrating losses.
