Hey fellow horror fans! I’m on the hunt for some awesome indie horror games that might have slipped under my radar. I’ve played quite a few popular ones like Little Nightmares, SOMA, and Visage, but I’m eager to find more hidden gems.
I’m into all sorts of horror subgenres, from psychological thrillers to survival horror. I even enjoy games that aren’t strictly horror but have creepy vibes, like Subnautica.
Some of my favorites include:
ShadowKeep (a spooky mansion exploration game)
Whispers in the Dark (a psychological horror with puzzle elements)
Nightfall Chronicles (a retro-style RPG horror)
I’m also a fan of classic horror games like Silent Hill and early Resident Evil titles.
What indie horror games have you played recently that really stood out? Any lesser-known titles you think deserve more attention? I’m open to all suggestions, whether they’re on PC, console, or even mobile platforms.
Thanks for your help! I can’t wait to discover some new terrifying experiences.
Dude, you gotta try Mundaun. It’s this weird hand-penciled horror game set in the Swiss Alps. Creepy as hell and totally unique. The art style alone is worth it, but the story’s pretty messed up too. It’s like nothing else I’ve played in the horror genre.
Layers of Fear is a trip if you’re into psychological horror. The constantly shifting environment keeps you on edge. Not super well-known but definitely worth playing.
