Seeking name of indie horror game (2011-2015) featuring a stalking corpse

I’m trying to remember an indie horror game from around 2011-2015. It was pretty popular with YouTubers back then. The game started in a dark basement or maybe a prison-like area. You had to find a key to escape.

At some point, you’d come across a suicide note. After that, a creepy dead body would follow you everywhere. If you turned around, it was always right behind you! Super scary stuff.

The game had lots of jumpscares and maybe other spooky monsters too. I think it was mostly about escaping and avoiding the stalking corpse.

I’ve been searching online but can’t find any info about this game. Does anyone remember its name or have more details about it? It’s driving me crazy trying to recall!

Sounds like a classic indie horror gem! That stalking corpse mechanic is pretty unique. Have you tried looking through old YouTube horror game compilations? Might jog your memory seeing some gameplay footage. Those early 2010s had so many hidden horror treasures.

Sounds like Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion, but not sure. The constantly following corpse is pretty unique. Maybe try looking up Let’s Plays from that time period?

That game sounds wild! I remember a bunch of horror games from that era, but this one’s slipping my mind. Was it first-person? Those corpse chase scenes must’ve been intense. Hopefully someone here knows the title, now I’m curious to check it out too.

Man, that game sounds familiar but I can’t place the name. Those early 2010s indie horror games all blur together for me now. The stalking corpse thing is a cool mechanic though. Reminds me a bit of Amnesia or Slender, but with its own twist. Wish I could be more help! Now I kinda want to replay some of those old YouTube bait horror games for nostalgia’s sake.

Dang, that corpse mechanic sounds creepy as heck. Makes me think of SCP Containment Breach, but with a ghostly twist. Indie horror really pushed some wild ideas back then.
