Hi everyone! I’m hoping for a unique VR game for the Quest that allows players to feel like they’re already famous on social media. It should be completely free and let users explore a celebrity-like existence with virtual followers and scripted interactions.
Here’s what I envision:
AI characters acting like your fans, taking pictures, and commenting on your activities
Fun things like creating fake TikToks, posting stories, and responding to fan messages
Simulated live streaming with chats and virtual interactions
A fake social media profile tracking your followers and engagement
Events mimicking award shows and meet-and-greets
Solo play with just bots, avoiding pressure from real players
Fully free with zero in-app purchases
It would also be cool to have an optional multiplayer mode for those who prefer social interactions. This could be a separate area for users to act as influencers together, collaborate, or attend virtual events, but the single-player experience should remain intact for those who enjoy it solo.
In the optional multiplayer mode, you could do things like:
Collaborative podcast sessions or joint livestreams with others
Group dance-offs and challenges mimicking popular trends
Roleplay activities like red carpet events with pretend photographers
Cosmetic items to share or trade with friends for fun
Creative spaces with various backdrops for content creation
Competitions based on creativity rather than money
Virtual boards showcasing user-generated content
Realistic reactions from bot fans to enhance immersion
Special themed events and virtual celebrity gatherings
Professional audio effects for recordings
Instagram-like photo ops with simulated engagement metrics
Why I think this is important:
While many social VR games exist, few focus on providing a chill experience of fame in a single-player format. This could be empowering for people curious about fame without the social pressures of reality. VR is a great platform for exploring these kinds of fantasies.
