Hey everyone! I’ve been wondering about something regarding Pummel Party on my PlayStation 4. I noticed that when I launch the game, there’s an option to create lobbies for up to 8 participants, but I’m only able to connect 4 controllers at the same time for local couch co-op sessions. Has anyone figured out a way to get more than 4 people playing together in the same room? I’m planning a gaming night with friends and it would be awesome if we could get everyone involved instead of having people sit out and wait for their turn. Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Same issue here. The 8 player thing only works if some people join online while others are local. Pretty annoying limitation but that’s console life I guess.
Unfortunately, PS4 limits it to 4 controllers. So, you’ll have to rotate players if more friends want to join in.
Yeah, that’s just how the PS4 works. It limits local play to 4 controllers even though Pummel Party can support up to 8 online. It’s a bit frustrating when you have a big group. You could try using tournament brackets so winners keep playing or have some friends join online to cover the extra spots.
Tournament brackets work great for bigger groups. Makes it more competitive too.
