Pandemic situation deteriorating | Isolation Area

I’m dealing with a really tough situation right now. The virus outbreak in our area has gotten much worse over the past few weeks. The local authorities have set up an isolation zone around our neighborhood and we’re basically stuck here.

I’m worried about how bad things are getting. The number of cases keeps going up and it feels like the restrictions are getting tighter every day. Has anyone else been through something similar? How did you cope with being in a quarantine area when the situation kept getting worse?

I’m trying to stay positive but it’s really hard when you don’t know how long this will last or if things will get even worse before they get better.

Totally understand what you’re going through. I had some tough times too, but finding a new game to dive into really helped keep my mind off things. Those long sessions with friends can make a huge difference!

Multiplayer games saved me during quarantine. Just having voice chat going while we played made everything feel way less lonely.

Co-op games saved me during lockdown. Nothing beats teaming up with people when you’re stuck inside.

I went through a similar situation last year and gaming really helped me stay sane. I got to tackle my backlog and discovered some amazing indie games that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. The unknown was tough, but losing myself in games made the days feel shorter.

Been there - it’s brutal. I found really immersive RPGs saved me. You can get completely lost for hours. Single player games beat multiplayer when you’re struggling because you can pause and walk away if anxiety hits. Having something to look forward to daily made a huge difference.
