Saw a trailer in a game showcase. It showed a woman in a room with a window. You could see buildings outside. Then she was in another room, searching for something or someone. The whole thing had a really dystopian vibe. The colors were all dark browns and oranges. I think it was third-person or point-and-click style. Does anyone know what game this might be? I can’t recall much else but it looked interesting.
Sounds a bit like Norco maybe? But that’s already out. There’s so many cool indie games in development these days it’s hard to keep track. I love that dystopian vibe though. Hopefully someone here knows which one you’re talking about!
Man, that game sounds pretty sweet. I’m a sucker for dystopian indie stuff too. Have you tried checking out some of the recent indie game festivals? They usually show off a bunch of cool upcoming titles that fit that vibe. Might be worth digging through their showcases to see if you can spot it.
That description sounds intriguing. Dystopian indie games with female leads are right up my alley. I’ve been keeping an eye on upcoming releases, but nothing specific matches what you’re describing. The orangey-brown color palette and pixelated style do narrow it down though. Have you tried looking through indie game showcases or festivals from the past year? They often feature trailers for upcoming games that fit this vibe.
Pixelated dystopian games are my jam! Sounds kinda like Signalis, but that’s already out. Maybe check indie game Twitter? Lots of cool upcoming stuff gets shared there.
