Is the Mobile Version of Chained Together Actually Official?

Hey everyone! I just discovered that Chained Together is available on mobile platforms, but something feels off about it. The mobile version looks like it might be an unauthorized port that the original developers didn’t approve or create themselves. What makes it even more questionable is that the mobile version completely removes the multiplayer feature, which is basically the main point of the original game. Instead, it’s just a single-player experience. I’m pretty confident this unofficial version will either get taken down soon or the developers will need to give proper licensing approval. Has anyone else noticed this? What do you think about these unauthorized mobile ports?

Fake mobile ports are everywhere now. I see indie games getting ripped off constantly. It sucks for developers who actually did the work. Stripping out co-op basically makes it a different game.

Mobile game stores are basically the wild west for unauthorized ports these days

Those knockoff mobile games have terrible controls anyway. Just stick with the real PC version if you want the actual experience.

If you spot it, reporting it to the devs on Steam or Twitter could help. They need to know about this.

I’ve seen this happen to so many games lately. The original devs probably have no idea it even exists until someone tells them.

It happens way too often with popular indie games. Mobile stores really don’t check for this stuff. They take the name and artwork but remove all the features that made the original fun. No multiplayer means it’s definitely not the real deal.

Yeah that mobile version’s sketchy as hell. Chained Together without multiplayer is like pizza without cheese.
