Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about something lately. Do most players here understand that this game wasn’t designed to be a true-to-life military sim?
It’s meant to be more of an arcade-style shooter. The characters we play aren’t supposed to act like real soldiers in combat.
I get it if some folks don’t like certain movement mechanics. But calling good players ‘abusers’ for using stuff like dropshotting or bunny hopping doesn’t make sense. That’s just how the game is meant to be played.
What do you all think? Are people expecting too much realism from an arcade-style FPS?
Yep, it’s all about fast-paced action and crazy moves. The military setting is just window dressing for the arcade gameplay. If you want realism, this ain’t it!
Definitely not a mil-sim, but that’s what makes it fun. The crazy movement and fast gameplay keep me coming back. It’s all about those clutch moments and sick plays, not realism.
I feel you. This game’s always been about fast-paced action and fun mechanics. Sure, it’s got some military vibes, but at its core it’s an arcade shooter.
People complaining about dropshotting and bunny hopping are missing the point. Those moves are part of what makes the gameplay unique and skill-based.
If folks want pure realism, there are other games out there for that. This one’s all about embracing the chaos and having a blast.
Yeah, it’s pretty clear this game is more about crazy action than realism. Some players might get frustrated by the wild moves, but that’s what makes it fun. Gotta embrace the chaos and just enjoy the ride!
