Is Geometry Dash secretly a scary game? Age rating confusion

Hey everyone! I’m really confused right now. I was looking at Geometry Dash’s age rating and saw it’s 12+. But then I heard some people saying it’s actually a horror game? That doesn’t make sense to me.

I always thought Geometry Dash was just a fun music rhythm game with cube jumping. How can it be scary? Are there hidden creepy levels or something I don’t know about?

Has anyone else heard this rumor? Or am I just misunderstanding something about the game? I’d really appreciate if someone could explain what’s going on here. Thanks!

Geometry Dash isn’t scary, just super challenging. The music and visuals can get intense on harder levels though. Maybe that’s why some folks joke about it being ‘scary’. It’s more about precision and reflexes than horror.

Nah, Geometry Dash isn’t scary at all. It’s just a challenging rhythm game with some intense moments. The 12+ rating is probably for difficulty, not horror. People might joke about it being scary 'cause of how frustrating the harder levels can be.

Maybe the real horror is the friends we made along the way.

Jokes aside, Geometry Dash isn’t scary. It’s just tough as nails.

Those spikes though… pure nightmare fuel.

It’s not scary, just insanely difficult at times.

Some levels can be pretty intense with flashing lights and fast music.

But no ghosts or monsters here. Just evil spike placement!

Geometry Dash isn’t a horror game at all. It’s just really tough, which can make it feel scary sometimes. The fast-paced gameplay and thumping music can get your heart racing, especially on the harder levels. But there’s no actual scary content. It’s all about timing and reflexes.
