I’m trying to figure out how to set up multiplayer for Content Warning with my buddy. We both have the game files but I’m not sure about the networking part. I noticed there are some online fix files included but I don’t really understand how to configure them properly. When my friend sent me an invite through Steam, something called Spacewar launched instead, which seems to be some kind of server hosting tool. Can someone explain the steps to get multiplayer working? I’m pretty new to this whole process and could use some guidance on connecting with friends for co-op gameplay.
Spacewar can pop up with cracked versions. Just use the online fix to host and share your lobby code with your buddy.
Make sure you’re both running the same online fix version or you’ll get connection errors.
Spacewar’s just a placeholder that shows up when the game isn’t recognized properly. The online fix should let you create a lobby your friend can join. Just make sure you’re both running the same version of the fix or you won’t be able to connect.
It’s not too hard to get going. One person just needs to host and the other can join using the in-game menu. Just double-check that your network settings in those fix files match up.
