How to beat the Quarantine Zone in Distortion Invasion?

I’ve tried the Quarantine Zone event three times with random teams and failed each time. It’s tricky but doable if everyone works together.

Here’s what I learned:

  1. Boss fight mechanics:

    • Enemies with status effects take less damage
    • Some platforms light up when you stand on them
    • Shoot the boss from these platforms to break its shield
    • Clear snipers on raised platforms
  2. Team composition:

    • Use characters without elemental attacks
    • Good picks: Alex, John, Greg, Victor, Ken, Eric, Yuki, Lana
  3. Strategy:

    • Two players focus on platforms
    • Others clear adds and protect platform players
    • When the boss is vulnerable, everyone attacks
    • Use cover wisely, especially near the central column
  4. General tips:

    • Don’t rush into danger
    • Equip health mods and defensive gear
    • Revive teammates safely

Has anyone else figured out other tricks? Let me know if this helps!

Man, that Quarantine Zone is no joke. I wiped there a bunch too before finally clearing it.

One thing that really helped was having someone run a support build. Healing and buffs make a huge difference when things get crazy.

Also, don’t sleep on consumables. Those damage boosters and shields can turn the tide when you’re struggling to break the boss’s defenses.

Oof, that Quarantine Zone is tough. I found using characters with good mobility helps a ton. You can zip between platforms faster and dodge those nasty AoE attacks. Plus, it’s way easier to revive teammates when you can quickly get to them.

Nice tips! I’d add: bring a tank character.

They can draw aggro while others hit platforms.

Also, watch for the boss’s aoe attack. It’s a big damage spike if you’re caught off guard.

Yo, this Quarantine Zone is brutal. I finally beat it after like 10 tries.

One thing that worked for me was using characters with AoE abilities. They’re great for clearing those pesky adds while the rest of the team focuses on the boss.

Also, don’t forget about your ultimates. Save them for when the boss is vulnerable and you can do some serious damage.

I’ve found upgrading gear before attempting helps a ton.

Max out your weapon and armor stats.

The extra damage and survivability makes a big difference.

I’ve had better luck using voice chat to coordinate. Makes calling out platform activations and boss vulnerabilities way easier. Plus you can warn teammates about incoming attacks. Definitely helps survive the chaos.
