How do you envision Lethal Company's complete version when development finishes?

I’ve been wondering about this lately and figured this community would have great insights. Lethal Company is amazing but still has some issues that need work. Connection problems, incomplete creature descriptions, various bugs and glitches that will hopefully get sorted out in the final build.

Once Zeekerss wraps up his current project and comes back to finish Lethal Company, what do you think the completed game will include? The game has been in early development for about a year now with regular updates adding new monsters and locations, but how will the story conclude? What features do you expect to see added or improved?

Here’s what I’m hoping for in the finished version:

  • Complete monster encyclopedia entries with proper classifications and descriptions
  • Creature behavior interactions where different enemies affect each other, not just players
  • Better underground cave systems that don’t have collision issues
  • Improved vehicle handling and physics
  • More story logs that explain the world and give us direction
  • A satisfying but mysterious ending that fits the game’s weird atmosphere

I doubt everything on my wishlist will make it in, but I’m really curious what others want to see. What gameplay features are you hoping for? Story elements? Technical improvements? Does anyone else care about the scientific accuracy of the creature classifications?

What are your predictions and hopes for how this game will look when it’s truly finished?

It would be great to see more variety in objectives like that. Imagine actually having contracts that relate to your past encounters or certain tasks to investigate specific areas. The gameplay could really benefit from having less mindless collection and more meaningful missions.

I’d love more varied objectives besides just collecting scraps. Would make the game feel way fresher.

Hope they fix the atmosphere consistency. Some areas are genuinely creepy but others feel bland. The lighting and audio need work to keep tension through entire runs. Also want them to expand the quota system beyond just hit your numbers or die.

Better mod support would be incredible. The community could add so much content while the dev focuses on core features.

Desync issues need to be the top priority. It’s super frustrating to think you’re safe and then get attacked by something you can’t even see.
