Extremely rare and costly PlayStation 2 horror title worth collecting

Kuon is basically the holy grail for anyone who collects physical game copies. If you want a complete copy with the box, you’re looking at spending anywhere from $700 to over $1000.

I recently beat this game and wow, it’s genuinely amazing. The gameplay feels really unique compared to other horror games. The creature designs are fantastic and the whole atmosphere is incredibly creepy. I’d put it right up there with the Fatal Frame series when it comes to being genuinely scary.

For such an obscure title, the quality is surprisingly high. The story kept me engaged and the scares felt authentic rather than cheap jump scares. If you’re into horror gaming and can find a reasonably priced copy, it’s definitely worth experiencing.

I remember seeing copies in used game stores for like $20 back in the day. Should’ve grabbed one then but who knew it would blow up like this. The atmosphere in that game is unreal.

That price tag hurts but the game really is something special. Those Japanese folklore monsters still give me nightmares.

Been emulating it since I can’t justify dropping that much cash. The sound design alone makes it terrifying to play with headphones on.

Nice find! I’ve been hunting for a decent copy for years. Prices keep climbing, which is nuts since nobody cared when it first released. The two-scenario structure sounds awesome with the same haunted location but different perspectives. I just wish more people knew about this gem instead of just pushing the usual Resident Evil stuff.
