Does the Lorax containment area serve as the final checkpoint

I’m currently navigating through a game and trying to understand if the Lorax quarantine zone is the last stopping point before I can advance. I’ve been stuck here for some time and I’m unsure if I’ve missed something or if this is indeed the end point for this chapter.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation? I just want to confirm that I’m not ignoring any key elements or extra checkpoints that might be available after this zone. Any help would be greatly appreciated to avoid unnecessary backtracking.

You’re right, that’s the last checkpoint before the boss fight. Make sure to clear out all the contaminated spots and then you can move on.

Yeah, that’s the final checkpoint. There’s a hidden cache behind the purple barrier - approach from the left side. Most players miss it but the loot’s pretty good. Then you can move on to the next area.

Check your inventory for the decontamination key - you probably missed it earlier.

That zone seems like a dead end, but you have to hit those glowing terminals to move on. It took me a while to figure it out too.
