I’m trying to remember the details of how I managed to get this one, but my memory is pretty fuzzy. I was still learning the game mechanics back then and had no clue that stepping down from power was even an option. My character ended up surviving well into their 90s while maintaining those terrible attributes you see in the screenshot. The whole experience was absolutely grueling to play through, but somehow I stuck with it until the end. Looking back now, I realize how much easier it would have been if I had just known about the abdication feature from the start. Has anyone else stumbled into this achievement by accident, or did most people get it intentionally? I’m curious about other players’ experiences with this particular unlock.

I can relate to that. I thought pushing through would help, but it just led to more frustration. It’s crazy how tough some of those challenges can be, right? That’s just how gaming goes sometimes.
I earned it by refusing to give up. Honestly, not the best way to do it.
Same here - total accident on my first ruler run. Had no clue what I was doing wrong, just kept grinding thinking it’d turn around. Took forever but felt weirdly satisfying when it finally hit. Now I’ve got mad respect for anyone who actually tries for this achievement on purpose. That’s some serious dedication.
