Current status and future prospects of Pummel Party in 2025?

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great start to the new year!

I’ve been thinking about where Pummel Party stands right now. On one hand, the modding community seems pretty active and I noticed player counts have gone up recently. But on the other hand, someone told me the dev team’s website is down and they haven’t been responding in Steam forums lately.

This got me wondering - are the developers still actively developing this game? I’d really love to see some fresh content or updates, especially improvements to the mod editor since that would help the modding community a lot. Right now I’m starting to doubt we’ll get any new updates.

Don’t get me wrong, if the devs have moved on that’s okay too. The mod community could probably keep things going for a while. I just wish we had clearer communication about what’s actually happening with the game’s development.

What’s your take on how the game is doing right now? What kind of updates would you want to see, or do you think there’s any chance of a sequel like Pummel Party 2?

Totally get that. The quiet from the devs is kind of unsettling. Thankfully, the game is still enjoyable and the mods definitely keep things fresh while we wait for any updates.

I get the frustration. It’s like the game is hanging on by a thread. The modding community is doing great work, but some communication from the devs would really help ease fears. Pummel Party has potential, but it feels like it needs a little push to get back on track.

I’ve been playing it a lot with friends and honestly the game is solid as it is. The mod support really keeps things interesting even without any new updates from the devs.

The last update feels like forever ago, but the workshop content is still going strong, so there’s a good amount to enjoy.
