Any unconventional sound design tricks or community-shared tools that have worked for your projects?
Layer subway screeches with slowed-down dentist drill recordings. Add intermittent silence to create uneasy rhythm. The asset library here has some great CC0 industrial samples to mix in.
I use an app called Tapegrinder that adds VHS degradation to voice memos. Recorded my radiator’s death rattle and now it sounds like a dying reactor core.
