Can you run Fiction Local Co-op across dual monitors on PC?

I have my computer hooked up to both a monitor and a TV screen. I want to know if it’s possible to play this game where each player gets their own display during co-op mode.

Basically I’m thinking one person would use the keyboard and mouse on the monitor while the other player uses a controller on the TV. This would be really cool for the parts where you have to split up since we wouldn’t have to share the same screen.

I’ve seen this work with other games like Rocket League but I’m not sure if it’s supported here. Has anyone tried this setup before or know if the game has this feature built in?

I haven’t used this setup specifically, but it seems like Fiction might not natively support dual monitor co-op. You might have to tinker with some display settings or look into software like SoftTH. Most co-op games still have split screen on one monitor, which is a bummer. Your idea sounds fun though, it would be awesome if it worked!

Sounds like a fun setup! From what I know, many games aren’t built for dual monitor co-op, so using something like third-party software might be the way to go. Good luck with it!

Haven’t tried it myself, but that sounds perfect for split sections. Hope you get it working!

That’d be way better than screen sharing. Fiction probably doesn’t support it natively though, most games don’t.

I’ve wanted to try this setup forever but kept putting it off. Fiction doesn’t support it natively, which sucks. You could try Nucleus Co-Op - it sometimes works for splitting games across multiple displays, though it’s hit or miss depending on what you’re playing. Still worth trying since your setup sounds perfect for those split sections.
