I’ve been grinding the 400% difficulty quarantine zone missions trying to get the venom injection drop that everyone talks about. So far I’ve completed 25 runs and haven’t seen it drop even once. I’m starting to wonder if this item actually exists or if the drop rate is just extremely low.
Has anyone here actually managed to get this item to drop from these missions? I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if I just need to keep grinding. Maybe there are specific conditions that need to be met for it to drop? Any tips or confirmation that this loot actually exists would be really helpful.
Starting to think my RNG luck is just terrible but wanted to check with the community first before I waste more time on this grind.
Got mine on run 38, so you’re not that far off. Drop rate’s probably 2-3%, but RNG is RNG. Don’t skip the side objectives - clear everything, not just the main target. Some people think it only drops from the final boss, but I’ve seen it drop from random elites too.
Yeah it exists but the drop rate is rough. I’ve done 60 runs and only got it twice. One thing that helped me was clearing every enemy instead of just rushing for objectives. Also, make sure you’re meeting the difficulty requirements because party scaling can sometimes bug out.
