Anyone have opinions on Lethal Company game?

I’ve been hearing a lot about this game called Lethal Company lately, and I’m curious about people’s views on it. From what I gather, it’s a cooperative horror game where you join a team to gather scrap while facing off against monsters. The gameplay looks intense based on the videos I’ve seen online. I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth buying or if it loses its appeal quickly. How does it stack up against other co-op horror games? Is the player community engaging and fun to interact with? I’d appreciate insights from those who have actually played it.

Playing with a full group is way more fun. Those monster moments definitely keep you on edge.

Picked it up on sale and no regrets here. That last-day scramble to hit quota? Actually stressful but in the best way possible.

Coil heads still give me nightmares but I keep coming back

The factory layouts keep changing which stops it from getting stale

It’s pure chaos and somehow that’s exactly what makes it work. The tension hits when you’re exploring some dark facility while your friend’s outside yelling directions through crackling radio static. Don’t go in expecting complex mechanics - it’s all about those perfect moments when everything falls apart at once.

It really comes down to who you’re playing with. The gameplay is straightforward, but the unpredictability of the monsters and the pressure to meet quotas keeps things interesting. If you have a solid group of friends, it’s definitely worth picking up. But if you’re relying on random matchmaking, it can be hit or miss. The community is friendly overall, and many are willing to help new players get the hang of things.

Worth it if you can handle the jump scares. Some of those creatures genuinely made me alt-f4 the first time I encountered them.

Playing with friends is a blast, but solo gets repetitive fast. The proximity chat makes it though - hearing someone panic as they’re getting dragged away by a monster is hilarious.
