I’m really hoping this upcoming asymmetrical horror title will finally deliver what we’ve been waiting for. I’ve been burned too many times by games that promised so much but ended up disappointing like some of the recent horror releases we’ve seen. The trailers look promising and the developers seem to understand what made the classic horror games so engaging. Has anyone else been following the development updates? I’m cautiously optimistic but also trying not to get my hopes up too high given how many similar games have launched with issues or lack of content. What are your thoughts on whether this one will actually succeed where others have struggled?
Yeah the genre definitely needs a win right now. Most of these games either die within weeks or have terrible balance issues that never get fixed.

Totally feel you on that. The hype is real, but I’m trying to stay grounded. It’s tough to trust new titles after some flops. Let’s hope this one breaks the mold.

I get it. Feels like there’s a new asymmetrical horror game every other month. Maybe all this competition will push them to actually deliver something good. I’m staying skeptical though - gonna wait and see how it plays after launch.
