Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for some awesome simulation games that’ll keep me hooked for ages. You know, the kind you can sink countless hours into without getting bored.
I’ve been having a blast with Stardew Valley lately, but I’m curious about other options out there. I’m open to all sorts of sim games, from laid-back farming sims to more complex and realistic ones.
What are your top picks for simulation games with high replay value? I’m talking about games where you can keep coming back and still find new things to do or different ways to play. Bonus points if they’re pretty realistic!
Any recommendations would be awesome. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Oxygen Not Included is a great pick if you like managing resources. It’s got that perfect mix of challenge and satisfaction when your colony thrives. Tons of replayability with different asteroid types and goals to pursue.
Dwarf Fortress is insanely deep if you’re up for a challenge. It’s got a steep learning curve, but man, the stories that come out of that game are wild.
You can literally play for years and still discover new stuff. Plus, the world generation is super detailed. Every dwarf has a personality, likes, and dislikes.
It’s not for everyone, but if you get into it, say goodbye to your free time.
Rimworld is a real time sink. You can play it so many different ways and the mods just make it even crazier. I’ve logged hundreds of hours and still find new stuff to do every playthrough.
Factorio is a huge time sink. Build factories, automate production, and defend against aliens. Tons of replay value with different map settings and mods.
